Bio

Heather Ferreira is a proud alumnus of New York University Film School.

Taught by Michael Chapman, A.S.C.

Chapman, Scorsese's Director of Photography from Mean Streets to Raging Bull, was her second cinematography instructor and called her "the best writer I've seen since (Paul) Schrader". He championed Movieopolis, demanding Ferreira complete and eventually present it to Scorsese.

Champion of new technologies

A director committed to the use of Artificial Intelligence in Hollywood, she has assisted both A.I. and robotics think tanks in California in their goal of perfecting A.I. scenic content and synthetic actors.

Taught by Peter Salim, A.S.C.

Salim, First Camera on Coppola's The Godfather, was her first cinematographer instructor.
